The organization aspect of this box is immeasurably helpful, and I have peace of mind knowing the information it contains will be easy to find should my loved ones need it. The one design flaw is the inability to lock the box. The entire lid is held in place by velcro and can easily be removed. It would be helpful if - at a minimum - it had a zippered closure with zipper pulls large enough to hold a small padlock.
Box was easy to assemble and very sturdy.

I ordered the fireproof box after I started the basic kit. It holds the hanging files very well and provides an easy way to work on the box by moving it to a new location. It's sturdy but light weight with handles and a Velcro top. It would be easy to pick is up and run!
I wish my parents had this box. Completing this project is a gift for my children.

After returning three boxes I kept this one because my files had plenty of room and the hanging files were able to glide when I was using them. The only thing is I wanted it to have wheels on the bottom of the box so I had to order some and attach them myself.

Although it took awhile for me to begin working on it, once I started, it went pretty smoothly. I was able to clear out enough old files, by using your guidelines, and then moving the important stuff to the Nok Box, to empty a 2 drawer file cabinet! I used to have paperwork in multiple spots but now all the information is in one place! I also appreciate the emails that you send with information about particular categories. They are quite helpful. I know my adult children will have a much easier time taking care of the estate when I pass. And for now, I can find needed documents as needed. I believe it was a very good purchase.
Solid container
When my brother died, his papers were everywhere and so unorganized. My sister and I decided not to let that happen to our kids. This has made that so efficient. I love the informative emails for each section.
I love that I'm (my loved ones are) going to have everything in one place in an emergency. It so easy to find documents and I have enjoyed following the instructions about how to set up and fill my NOKBOX.
I really needed my larger fireproof box. My original NOK box was overflowing, and I couldn't stuff another piece of paper in. It's going to make working with it so much easier.
