Using NOK makes the process of providing for your end of life wishes and instructions easy to document and organize. It was just what I needed to get started. I highly recommend this product.

Got my NOK Box Lite all organized today! It came with everything I needed! I’ll spend the next week collecting all of our papers and passwords into it. I sent pictures of the box to our grown kids and they’re excited that we’re taking care of this now!! I’m already feeling better about how this will organize our important documents!!
Setup was a little daunting because of all the folders needed and labels to apply. Got that done with a few short sessions. Now for the 'fun' part -- filling each folder. Hard to find the time, but I am working my way through the various sections. The 'keys bag' was quite the surprise, we had never thought of such a need. It will take awhile, but I may finish this month.

This is a lot of work getting all the details but it is extremely comprehensive. I have seen several other systems advertised and NONE of them carry the scope and range of thoroughness that NOKbox provides. In addition I have purchased the Password booklet and the Notes booklet and find them quite useful and thorough. While working on my NOKbox I compiled and posted on FaceBook NOKbox Nook a list I named Legacy Box Checklist. It gives a list of things to crosscheck for the NOK. I have now created an index for faster lookup of where to place documents or copies in the NOK. Keep up the great work!

Very good system. . Has really helped me get much better organized and throw out a lot of not needed Stuff. Now I keep only the latest in the box, so as to not fill up the box Love the Sliding files.
Great tool for helping me keep track of all the important documents. I've been able to consolidate 2 other accordian files into this one, which now lives at the bottom of my pantry, for easy access. I bought one for my mom as well, and as a professional organizer, I'm glad I will have everything I need in one place for both of us.
Every place should not be the same primary residence shouldn’t be asking for acct name etc
Filled out paperwork included and put in each folder along with statements and copy of bills etc. I had. Put keys in folder and labeled them. I also have an end of life book I filled out in detail. I have the zipper pouch included and put important papers like wills, password sheets, deed, POA papers etc. in there in my little safe. Everything was noted where it is either in the safe or The NOK box or written in the end of life book which I put in the NOK box. I plan on adding to it and keeping it current. The NOK box was a nice place to put papers for things along with the addition of the end of life book I purchased before got the NOK box. It’s all in one place along with my safe. My safe isn’t real big so the box was good for additional papers and the end of life book.
Putting it together was easy peasy! Getting the helpful tips sheet for each section was very helpful (although I didn’t receive tips for sections 6-9), I was still able to work through those sections quite easily. I’m glad I ordered it because I like to be organized and find this is a great system for making it easy to do so.
I love how this book aligns with each Nokbox section and takes the guesswork out of everything. It's clear, clean, and large print size. The Notes & Information section at the end of each section is the cherry on top! I'm so happy I got it.
You have thought of everything. I could not have brought this altogether alone. We are working through it section by section and treating it as a collection of info about us that we can go to rather than a scattering of info in many places. It has forced me to track down info, correct beneficiaries, and even saved me money as I track down online subscriptions and memberships! This is a fantastic tool worth every penny in my opinion.
I purchased the Nokbox Lite with the intention of adding my own hanging file folders, interior folders, and a fireproof and water resistant document box for safer storage. I did this because I am a very organized person and from the looks of it, the Nokbox system looked better than I had seen so far; I’m always moving up when it comes to organization. I began by searching through my existing stash of colored hanging file folders, and was actually able to find matches or near matches for each of the colors of each of the category labels! That will help me visually as I work with these files going forward. But now that I’ve followed the excellent instructions carefully by 1. labeling each hanging file folder in turn, then 2. returning to the first one in line and adding the prescribed labeled interior folders to each hanging folder, then 3. opening the package of sheets to be added to be placed inside of each interior folder in turn, from front to back, the set up couldn’t have been easier. And I learned something: I’ve come to the pinnacle of organizing this part of my life as far as organizing goes. I will never need to supplant the Nokbox with any of those “What My Family Needs to Know” books to fill in and hope they can find. Just during completing this setup, my idea that I would have to fill these folders with a lot of stuff has vanished. Those things can stay where they are, for the most part. The Nokbox will either give your next of kin the information they need on the single sheet or it will tell them where to find it. So no overstuffed folders! When I saw the folder labeled Ancestry I was delighted but thought it would be the exception. No, the single sheet in it is where you can direct your loved ones to the results of your labors of love as the family genealogist, or the work you never really had the time for. For those irreplaceable or expensive (Have you ordered a birth, marriage, or death certificate lately? Unbelievable!) documents, genealogical or personal/family, the Nokbox comes with one very durable see-through zippered document bag, and you can order more if you need them. The spacious bag fits very nicely in front or in back of the hanging files. The kit also comes with a bag and key tags so they are complete and ready for use when your loved ones need them. The one thing I would like to see is a place to list my family and close friends but I can add that on a single sheet of plain paper, or I can go through my digital Contacts and add searchable keywords to family; friends could be tagged by how I know them, and leave any important notes so my family knows they should contact Susie since she is an Admin for this Facebook group and Sam because he is an Admin for that Nextdoor group…see, here I am, thinking through things that need to be done, all thanks to my Nokbox! Of course, that points to the fact that getting it set up, while immensely satisfying, is just the start. I’ll likely start from the front, one interior folder at a time, seeking one immensely satisfying feeling, one task at a time, one sheet at a time. Once you have your Nokbox, you can join a user group on Facebook and find other helps to encourage you along the way. * The photo I have shows my Nokbox set up in the JHSafer fireproof document box I chose. Besides the superior safety features, including the only fireproof zipper, it holds only letter-sized hanging files. (Many others show folders front-to-back but they are legal-sized; letter-sized only fit if hung sideways so you would have the lid folded out to your side, taking up valuable space on your desk.) I have two irreplaceable family tree books. One of them is full-sized and they both fit easily behind the Nokbox system, with plenty of room to spare. I found both the Nokbox Lite and the JHSafer fireproof document box on Amazon. The Nokbox Lite has given me the best value for my money, for perfect organization, and for saving my time (and money on lesser products). I could not be happier, more comfortable, more relieved. The same feelings coming with each step and when the process is complete. I have planned two hours a day for the first week, then one hour a day is my goal towards completion. Now it is down in writing and I’ve stated it publicly.
The organization aspect of this box is immeasurably helpful, and I have peace of mind knowing the information it contains will be easy to find should my loved ones need it. The one design flaw is the inability to lock the box. The entire lid is held in place by velcro and can easily be removed. It would be helpful if - at a minimum - it had a zippered closure with zipper pulls large enough to hold a small padlock.
We thought we had what we needed in case of my husband and I passing for our two sons. The NOKBOX made us realized that there are more smaller items that needed to be deal with. The information sheets you provide will help us or anyone in this situation and it's easy to understand as well too ensure your NOK knows what to do during this phrase of your life. We order the base plan and setup our own folders/tabs. We ordered our fire proof/water proof storage box thru Amazon, because we would looking for additional storage sections for additional item's to secure an all in one place for emergencies. Item's such as our spare glasses, prescription medications for seven days, photos CD, thumb drives with information you may need, military ribbons, quick list of contacts, plus any additional items that we felt is needed. We are retired disable Veterans and in case of an emergency we have everything that is important in one centralized location to grab and go. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking to get their things together. Thanks for the creation of the NOKBOX. We like to recommend an easier way for veterans to get a significant discount. We had an hard time in getting login for the verification that we eventually by pass that process. TY

Love this. I had been using a DIY system years, but it always was lacking instructions for my loved ones. This fits my needs and I also like that it is flexible enough to mesh with password keepers and other digital tools I use. Also like the protected document and key bags. I'm a kinesthetic learner and take more ownership when I physically create things, so I was very happy that there was the Lite version. I already had hanging files and manila folders, so there was the double bonus of saving trees too.
I am impressed with the files and the box , I could have used a copy of the lineup of the file . when I for example took the Primary residence file out ,I lost where to put it back

I consider myself an organized person but the Nokbox takes it up to a higher level. I have done one for myself, my son and my daughter. As each of my grandchildren graduate from high school, they receive their own Nokbox to help them to be organized in their adult life. I did each of them in different file folder colors.
After I got it, I realized that it was more than just a packet for my next of kin when I die. When we have hurricanes , I could grab it and leave home and have all the important documentation needed.
I've been waiting for so long to get our documents in order. NOKBOX helped me get the job done quickly, and I was able to stop procrastinating. The labels are clear and easy. The instructions are great and I'm glad I have some Nokbox videos to help me finish the job.
